Artist's Description

Hot Rod:
Hot rods are typically American cars with large engines modified for linear speed. The origin of the term "hot rod" is unclear. One explanation is that the term is a contraction of "hot roadster," meaning a roadster that was modified for speed.

About Kenneth De Tore

Kenneth De Tore

I was born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey and am presently living in Washington State. From an early age I liked to draw; working in pencil, color pencil, and oils. I like to illustrate military aircraft, classic automobiles, and the urban landscape. I have recently received my AAS Degree from Lake Washington Technical College in the multimedia design and production program. I want to combine my illustrating and graphic design skills with the Adobe graphic programs.
